YESH...I managed to overcome my greatest phobia in high jump, that is doing standing high jump. It's sort of a standing backflip and clearing over a bar. This afternoon I successfully cleared 1.35m ! It's almost as high as my chest level but I remembered he told me not to think so much and just do the 2 movements to clear the bar. I failed so many times as I raised the bar by 5cm each time from 1.20m. But I wanted something out of this training. A breakthrough. At least this will keep me in high spirits for the rest of the week if it can't set my mentality right for the competition in exactly 2 weeks' time.
The next thing I want to accomplish is doing "Jian Dao Jiao" or known as scissors jump over 1.50m to renew my old personal best(pb) of 1.45m. My jump records are in the scroll word strip found on the horizontal column below(just above your Window Start button). I'm not trying to make my readers feel they're stupid but I'm just helpful hah...
And ermm...I've got a new GP tutor for the rest of the year! She's Miss Eleen Tan the new teacher posted to JJC. In my opinion, she can teach more effectively than Mr Carl Ng because she's got the gentle yet demanding image which I can accept very easily.
8.40pm. Not bathed yet. Bye.
