Apple/Creative news update:

Creative has statistically declared it cannot beat apple in its mp3 players. Sim Wong Foo acknowleged the stiff competition as his company's net profit plunges 72%. He said that his mp3 players are only fit to fight with contenders like iRiver for 2nd place in the mp3 market.
In my own opinion, Creative only creates mp3 players because they saw it as a lucrative product to sell for quick money. Apple had a few years lead and the americans make iPod to satisfy consumers' needs and wishes. That's the reason why poor people like me buy iPod despite its overpriced tag as compared to other mp3 players available.
