For all you people I just got to know in JJ, let me tell you something about me.

On Monday Dec 22 of year 2003, my freakiest accident of my life happened. I still remember vividly that particular day. As usual in the end-of-year holidays, I went for track training at SPE stadium(Singapore Physical Edu.). It was a fine training day until I slipped on my way up the run-up towards the high jump crossbar. My left shin hit something and a lump of flesh popped up literally like a swell. Frantic and shocked, I instantly smoothe the flesh back. The gruesome part has yet to come...
After a while, I recovered from that accidental slip and going for more jumps. Jian Chao jumps, sits the bar and lands on the mattress with his right arm held out punching straight into the matt. Unfortunately my right elbow got dislocated ;=(
Luckily my coach was just nearby and came to my aid by slotting the elbow joints into position. I guessed my body was rejuvenating itself, thus there was this rush of giddiness. The fingers on that arm gradually went numb and it felt like rubber fingers.
Then coach sent me to Alexandra Hosp. Waited, X-rayed, diagnosed by multiple docs. The impact formed a bone fragment and had to be either surgically fixed or leave it to recover by itself. One of the doc told me I may need an operation and I almost freaked out !
Still, I went under the knife at night the following day.

Actually I just wanted to say about the hosp. stay and especially one song I heard in the hospital.
It's Sundial Dreams by Kelvin Kern. I think that's the song I heard on one morning in my ward. I must confess that the hospital is one of the best place to be in when you're ill. I recalled clearly that scene in the ward that morning... Calmness within the ward, cool atmosphere that you just want to rest in, trees swaying gently outside the windows.. What more can I ask for? A platform of life and death filled with elements of heaven. It's either heaven or hell, just that how you think about a hospital. Although my elbow occasionally had the piercing pain, I tried to think of happier things. Oh yeah last but not least, Finian and Liuyun visited me when I was hospitalised. Tt's the most warming thing I've experienced ever since. As I'm typing this, tears are welling up in my eyes ! What's up with tt?! Too much warmth to continue ppl, I'm signing off...
