Attended 2 big events today. One was a malay wedding whom the bride is the godsister of my cousin Anddy. It was really an eye-opener because I saw how the newly wedded couple had guests doing their own individual dance in front of their wedding stage to greet them. All the dancers were males though. It seems the males have to learn it some point in their Muslim life. The venue was a short walk from my house so Anddy knocked on my door around 12pm and 5(er jie, daddy, da gu gu and gong gong) of us went.
The second occasion was actually a BBQ session at ECP(37 D pit). It was organised by our Raub neighbours(Qin Qin and her sisters) so I tagged along with my jie jies and da gu gu and mikoo. We first drove over to their house(rented from one of my distant ah yi whose from Raub as well. It was a bigger surprise. Their apartment is the old fashion flat in Bt Merah where you have spiral staircases at the back of the block. And they live on the fifth floor ! The way up to their door is one-way cramped stairs. No lifts uh huh. I'm not looking down on their living conditions at all here, I'm just purely awed. The rest is just makan makan and talk talk. We had trouble burning up the charcoal I brought from home because it's not been used for far too long. So I called da jie to buy some from the 7-eleven and the new pack did the job. I'm going to make some of the food da jie always make for picnic nowadays- the bacon roll with needle mushrooms. It rox !

The options course will start on Saturday. I will try my best to pull back my wake-up time from 10am to 6.30am since I have to get to Chinatown for the 4 days by 9am.
