I just couldn't sleep early this whole week since I left army... I intentionally turned to bed sometimes before 9 and like now, fully awake and rolling with really sleepy eyes.
So I decided to check out the recent IVP results, but I only found '07.
The high jump event is less competitive than the A boys(JC) level.
From 1st to 8th in the IVP, we have
1. 1.91m
2. 1.80m
3. 1.80m
4. 1.80m
5. 1.75m
6. 1.75m
7. 1.70m
8. 1.70m

If I stick on with my conditioning plan, I should be able to hold up my name in the lower of the 8s when i compete in my IVP debut.

I caught an inspiring article from Uncle Sha, the familiar face of local track and field.

We all have dreams and what do you do when that dream of yours is deferred

Do you quit or do you comeback stronger, faster and bigger?

We all are capable of great things, so never ever give up on your dreams

Danny Glover narrates this powerful Nike ad, with lines straight from a Langston Hughes poem, “A Dream Deferred”

" What happens to a dream deferred?

Does it dry up
Like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore
And then run?

Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over
like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.

Or does it explode?"
