I learned many things today. Most importantly is that you have to mix with diff. ppl to see who you prefer to hang out with. At noon today I went over to Clemeti Sports Hall for a whooping 2 hrs of badminton with liuyun, onion, koko, zhaoqing n jeric. We first started off playing with liuyun's Swallow brand shuttlecocks. It had strong air resistance prolly 'cause it was so damn light-weighted. Thus I took out mine n we felt like we're hitting bullets. Because of the difference in the specs of the shuttlecocks, there was a different experience for each kind. The night before I asked liuyun whether we should ask zhaoqing along. His reply was, "The more the merrier." But somehow finian got wind of it and sounded quite unhappy that he was joining us. "Bo Bian la...", more ppl means each of us will play less marh.. No wonder he's not that happy.
I was at a crossroad after the game. At first I was thinking of going to liuyun's new home but then I suggested to zhaoqing abt a game of pool. In the end I went for the latter coz I haven't tried pool for months and I was attracted by the cheap hourly rate(Clementi RC) too.
I long knew Zhaoqing's pool friends are very "ON" one.. Since there was 3 of us, ZQ called up Taupok who happens to live in the area to join us. It was so enjoyable to play with these ppl. Although their pool skill is "Wang4 Chen2 Mo4 Ji2" to me, they didn't have that air of arrogance. We practically joked n laughed throughout the long hours at the table 47. As usual in the past, ZQ was always the entertainer in any kind of sports/games. He would try silly shots and sometimes just dunno why purposely can't get the crucial balls in... That joker haha... Even Jeric n Taupok doesn't want to team up with him lol... Taupok was so pro in it n he taught me some tips and tricks. But somehow I just can't spin the ball left/right...always got the miss-cue sound upon attempt. I also learned how to play the 9-ball game after a clear explanation from taupok.

When both of us were about to leave, WW, peiwen n yeow teck walked in. Imagine how many sec sch friends I met today!
